AUTOMATED TILTING LADLES FOR HIGH CASTING QUALITY
Pouring Automats manufactured by hws allow continuous pouring of gray and spheroidal cast iron on all kinds of moulding plants within the cycle times. Our fully developed technique using tilting pouring ladles ensures exact regulation of the molten iron flow and quantity. The iron stream is controlled by means of optical sensors and cameras, and a programmable regulating system matches the pouring speed to the mould consumption rate and ensures a precise pouring of castings of any kind and application. For diverse moulding plant designs, two successful standard types with rotary ladle changer (accompanying and stationary version) are available. They can be extended with additional functions as may be necessary. Tilting ladle in segment design are used for all versions, i. e. the poured quantity is proportional to the ladle tilting angle – a must for accurate pouring without loss.
